The management of a development’s interaction with existing utility infrastructure and coordination of new utility infrastructure is critical to its success.

Our Utilities Team focuses on ensuring that existing utility infrastructure is accurately identified and accounted for, and that new utility infrastructure is master-planned and installed with a particular focus on their effect on programme, cost and design. From high level strategy and masterplan impact to detailed design and highway improvement impacts, our Utilities Team support clients from project inception, through land purchase, planning, construction, and adoption/handover.
With the drive towards low carbon heating solutions, regulations changes and promotion of competition with IDNOs, IGTs and NAVs the utility industry moves quickly. Our team uses their up to date knowledge of current and forthcoming regulation to ensure that capacity is identified and secured early in the development lifecycle, that off-site and third party risks are identified and mitigated, and that on site infrastructure is suitably sized to cater for future requirements.
