Berkhamsted School is over 450 years old, situated over four campuses. We have undertaken a number of projects at various locations as are outlined below.

Our Role

We were appointed  to undertake a number of projects at various locations as are outlined below.

The Outcome

Chapel: refurbishment of the incumbent cast iron heating within this Grade 1 listed structure, overseeing the project through to completion.

Science Block: refurbishment of electrical systems including lighting, power and distribution boards. This project was undertaken in conjunction with the heating services refurbishment of the chapel.

Sixth Form Block: full mechanical and electrical services designs for a new entrance area and associated spaces.

Admin Facility: conversion of class rooms for office use, with full refurbishment of all building services.

Sports Pavilion: full M&E refurbishment and extension of the pavilion, including changing rooms and showers, hospitality areas, storage, scoreboard system and other ancillary spaces. Our designs used environmentally sensitive solutions such as air source heat pumps.

Miscellaneous: upgrading fire alarm systems, heating/cooling systems and other building services updates
