Matthew Bishop

Matthew is a Production Director within our Development Management team, supporting clients in the delivery of successful large-scale infrastructure, residential and commercial projects, specialising in technically complex schemes. Matthew’s experience is utilised across all of Brookbanks’ internal groups throughout the development lifecycle, helping to assess and prioritise project risks and ensure clear, scheduled and controlled delivery of the development programme.

With over 25 years in the construction industry, Matthew has experience of delivering bespoke building projects within his own contracting business through to successful large-scale schemes across the residential sector in both PLC and SME environments. His expertise includes complex technical build, delivery of S278/S38 infrastructure and large-scale utility delivery, (pump stations, sub stations, HV and water diversions).

Prior to Brookbanks, Matthew worked as a Construction Director within the residential sector, and this helps bring a broad experience to our client base. He has led projects which involved collaboration on large scale ground water mitigation strategies, contamination remediation and environmental consultation and surcharging and geotechnical strategies. He has expertise in regeneration schemes, consortium sites and both green and brownfield developments.

We value Matthew’s timely problem solving, his skill in assessing and prioritising project risks and natural ability to build good and productive working relationships with stakeholders including local authorities and National Highways teams. He brings an outcome focussed, strategic and commercial approach on delivery against programme.
