Paul Coombs

With over 20 years of experience in construction industry, Paul is a Senior Engineer specializing in Drainage Design. His career journey spans several prestigious organizations, where he has developed a strong technical foundation and leadership skills.

Starting in 2003 with Taylor Wimpey, Paul worked across the Commercial and Technical Departments as a Managerial Trainee, gaining invaluable exposure to various aspects of housebuilding.  After Taylor Wimpey he transitioned into the drainage solutions sector as a Design Manager for Sustainable Drainage Systems, a manufacturer of innovative drainage solutions before joining MicroDrainage, where he held roles as Testing & Support Analyst and Lead Trainer. He played a pivotal role in providing high-level support and training to clients, helping them maximize the potential of MicroDrainage software for efficient drainage design.

From 2015 to 2024, Paul was a key Civil Engineer at Amey Consultancy, contributing his skills to the design and management of complex infrastructure projects. His role focused on delivering cutting-edge drainage designs, optimizing system performance, and ensuring sustainability across projects.

With a passion for innovative drainage solutions and a dedication to excellence, Paul remains focused on delivering high-quality, sustainable engineering designs that enhance the built environment.
