Soraya is one of our energy and sustainability specialists, supporting clients across a diverse range of sectors and project types. With extensive experience in energy assessments for both domestic and non-domestic buildings, alongside overheating analysis, Soraya helps clients navigate complex building regulations while delivering practical, efficient solutions that support successful development outcomes.
Within the Industrial & Logistics sector, Soraya has worked on a number of large warehouse and distribution developments, helping projects achieve outstanding environmental performance, including A+ EPC ratings and valuable BREEAM credits. Her expertise enables clients to balance operational requirements with ambitious sustainability targets, ensuring buildings are both compliant and future-ready.
In the Residential sector, Soraya has supported a range of major developments across London and Oxfordshire, including large-scale residential schemes and high-rise mixed-use developments incorporating residential and retail units. We value Soraya’s ability to work closely with design teams from concept through to completion, providing robust Part L compliance assessments and overheating analysis that help projects meet regulatory requirements while optimising building performance.
Alongside major developments, Soraya regularly works with SME developers and self-build clients, providing clear, practical advice to help residential and non-domestic projects achieve compliance with the latest Part L and Part O requirements. Her collaborative approach ensures that projects of all sizes benefit from tailored solutions that are both effective and commercially viable.
Soraya also brings experience within the Education sector, having supported energy upgrade projects for the University of Oxford. These projects have focused on improving energy efficiency and building performance while respecting the operational needs of educational facilities.
A further area of expertise lies in heritage and sensitive building projects. Soraya has worked on a variety of historic buildings throughout the Cotswolds and Oxfordshire, including schemes for the National Trust and residential properties associated with Blenheim Palace. These projects require a careful balance between preserving historic character and achieving modern energy and sustainability standards.

Did you know?
Before pursuing a career in the built environment, Soraya taught Maths and English to children and young people aged 3–18. Outside of work, she previously bred pedigree pygmy goats and now enjoys taking her family’s Portuguese Water Dog to agility training.
