Thomas is an Acoustic Consultant at Brookbanks, supporting projects of all sizes across planning, design and delivery. We draw on Thomas’s experience across Environmental Services, Planning, and Engineering & Design, helping clients navigate technical, regulatory and site‑specific challenges. Thomas has authored acoustic assessments for Industry & Logistics developments, from smaller industrial units requiring targeted advice through to large logistics parks. His experience includes detailed noise modelling of HGV movements, fixed plant and operational activity, supporting planning submissions and operational decision‑making.
Within the Infrastructure and Energy sectors, Thomas has delivered acoustic modelling and reporting for renewable and low‑carbon projects, including community heating hubs, condenser buildings and Data Centres including Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS). His work helps ensure that emerging technologies are integrated responsibly within their surrounding environments.
Thomas has significant experience supporting Residential developments through the planning process, providing baseline surveys, predictive modelling and technical reporting. He has worked on schemes for both local developers and national housebuilders, supporting well‑designed housing in a wide range of locations. We also value Thomas’s expertise on High‑Rise developments, including student accommodation schemes where enhanced regulatory oversight applies. He provides clear acoustic advice aligned with Gateway 2 and wider building safety and design requirements.
Across Education and Health Care, Thomas has delivered acoustic consultancy through all RIBA stages, advising on internal room acoustics and external noise environments for projects ranging from primary schools and SEN facilities to universities, colleges and healthcare buildings. His approach supports environments that are functional, inclusive and comfortable for end users.

Thomas is a keen hiker with experience trekking across several regions worldwide, most notably summiting Mount Toubkal and hiking extensively in Kyrgyzstan. Alongside his technical career, Thomas is also a signed music producer, with releases across multiple record labels.
