Tom.Nash@brookbanks.comTom is one of our CAD specialists, bringing more than seven years of professional experience in CAD design, utility mapping and technical drawing. His practical, hands-on background provides valuable support across our Engineering & Design teams, ensuring accurate, reliable information is available throughout the development process.
Tom began his career carrying out multi-utility surveys, using electromagnetic location (EML) equipment and ground-penetrating radar to identify and map underground services. This site-based experience gave him a strong understanding of utility infrastructure and developed the technical foundation that would lead him into a dedicated CAD role.
Building on this experience, Tom progressed into a CAD Technician position where he was responsible for managing as-laid drawings across more than 200 active sites. He played a key role in maintaining drawing accuracy, coordinating updates and supporting project delivery across a large and varied portfolio of developments. Tom was also instrumental in bringing legal plan production in-house, helping to improve efficiency, consistency and quality control across the business.
His combination of site surveying knowledge and advanced CAD expertise allows him to understand projects from both a practical and technical perspective. We value Tom’s ability to produce clear, accurate drawings while maintaining meticulous attention to detail, ensuring clients and project teams have the information they need to make informed decisions.
Today, Tom continues to support a wide range of projects, applying his extensive CAD knowledge to help deliver high-quality outputs and efficient project outcomes.

Did you know?
Tom spent several months travelling across India and South Asia. Outside of work, he enjoys gaming and game design, including creating his own elemental card game. He is also a keen skier, enjoys exploring new places and can occasionally be found enjoying a night out with friends.
