Led by Ron Henry, the Milton Keynes new office is the latest step in an exciting period of growth for Brookbanks. In June 2026 we secured strategic investment from CBPE, which is helping us invest in our people, broaden our services and expand across the country.

Continuing our growth

The new office follows our recent openings in Cardiff, where we bring dedicated expertise in Welsh planning policy and technical approvals, and in Cambridge, serving clients across Cambridgeshire and East Anglia. With more offices and roles on the way, there’s plenty more to come.

What we do

Since 1997, Brookbanks has supported major development and infrastructure projects across the UK, from planning through to delivery.

  • As Project Consultants, our in-house teams provide planning, environmental, engineering and design, project delivery, and cost and commercial expertise.
  • As a Development Partner, we lead large strategic schemes such as new towns, garden villages and urban extensions.

We work with national housebuilders, SME developers, housing associations, land promoters, landowners and funders. Our work covers residential, commercial, mixed-use, education, healthcare, logistics, data centres and high-rise developments.

Welcome, Ron

Ron joins us with more than 30 years’ experience in planning and development consultancy. He has led multi-disciplinary teams in Birmingham, Northampton and Cambridge, and has delivered major growth schemes and community-focused developments throughout his career.

As Group Director of Growth and Major Projects, Ron will drive our strategic growth, lead our work on major project opportunities and head up the Milton Keynes team.

Andrew Thorley, CEO of Brookbanks, said:
“We’re delighted to welcome Ron to Brookbanks. His expertise, leadership and insight will be a huge asset to the business. Opening in Milton Keynes is an important part of our growth plans, and Ron is the ideal person to lead it.”

Ron Henry added:
“I’m excited to be joining Brookbanks at such an important time in its growth. Milton Keynes and the wider region are full of opportunity, and I look forward to building a strong team here that delivers exceptional outcomes for our clients and partners.”

Building Safety Reviews: Turning Technical Findings into Clear Decisions

October 8, 2026

Identifying a building safety concern is only the first step. The more important question is whether the proposed response is proportionate to the risk. The Building Safety Act (BSA) was introduced in response to the Grenfell Tower tragedy, creating a new regime for managing risk in higher-risk residential buildings. Responsibility for compliance sits with the Principal Accountable Person and Accountable Persons, who must demonstrate that building safety risks are being identified, assessed and managed effectively.
