Brookbanks are excited to announce the submission of a planning application for a new Leisure Centre at Sherford!
An indoor leisure centre along, with changing facilities for the neighbouring outdoor pitches, will be provided by the Sherford Consortium. The proposed centre will face onto Hercules Road, on a prominent site at the western edge of Sherford. The centre will be well connected in terms of transport, with a bus stop opposite, active cycle routes and also within walking distance for residents of Sherford.
The proposed indoor facilities will consist of:
- Sports hall
- 25 metre, four lane swimming pool
- Dry and wet changing facilities
- Multi-purpose/function rooms
- Reception, foyer, lobby, office
- Circulation, stairs, lift
- Staff room, admin, storage and plant facilities
Sherford, a unique and award-winning new town near Plymouth, Devon, is continuing to evolve and take shape. Once complete the town will offer a thriving and sustainable community, providing up to 5,500 high-quality homes, commercial and retail space, as well as a range of amenities and community facilities.
