Mat is the Director of Utilities in our HET Team and has 13 years’ experience working across utility consultancy and client roles focusing on planning, procuring, and delivering utility infrastructure to developments. Mat has worked on a wide range of schemes from large mixed use urban extension, across commercial and logistics schemes to bespoke self-build projects.
Having worked across a range of business roles including business development, technical advisory and delivery management, Mat understands how important thorough utility infrastructure masterplanning is to a project to ensure that utilities are delivered on time and on budget.
The drive towards reducing carbon use and the electrification of heat are bringing about significant change within the utility industry. As networks reach capacity and require reinforcement, having a pro-active and comprehensive utility strategy for the delivery any size project is critical to the successful delivery of construction projects. Mat is enthusiastic about supporting clients and uses his varied experience to advise clients across a range of issues including:

Mat enjoys spending time at the family caravan in Llanberis in Snowdonia where they like to go kayaking and swimming in Llyn Padarn.
