Deloitte created a single, 980,000ft2 campus at New Street Square in London, made up of 5 separate properties. Each property contains a sophisticated, self-contained suite of client meeting rooms.

Our Role

Working in close partnership with specialist equipment manufacturers we designed bespoke, integrated systems for each meeting suite that enabled the lighting and control systems to interact directly with AV equipment, black-out blinds, television controls and a PC interface.

Within each meeting room lighting is controlled via wall-mounted scene-set control panels. The recessed LED fittings can be reduced by dimmer controls down to a stable 1% of luminaire output. Within the immersive video conference rooms, specialist lighting was set at enhanced levels to highlight facial appearance and optimise the display screen clarity.

The Outcome

Our designs were undertaken with Deloitte’s award-winning ‘Green Journey’ at their heart; as well as LED fittings and energy efficient control units, we specified centrally monitored PIR sensors throughout the suites.

Artworks displayed in the estate’s meeting room suites were accented with strategically located feature lighting.
