Diageo Pension Trust
SVM are involved in a number of sites as part of a framework to provide MEP engineering assistance to both new buildings and existing warehouse/industrial units as part of the Diageo Pension Trust net zero carbon initiatives.
Our Role
The scope of these projects cover high efficiency LED lighting and controls, extensive roof and solar car port Photovoltaic cells of up to 2,000kWp for individual buildings, plus alternative zero carbon energy sources. Most schemes incorporate large battery storage integrated into new or existing LV power distribution systems.
The Outcome
The objective of these schemes is to provide a high level of standalone power integrity with minimal reliance on the grid, meeting or exceeding the net zero carbon targets for that site and thereby providing a contribution to other sites.
