Hermiston Gait Retail Park is situated on the outskirts of Edinburgh and located at a strategic gateway serving a wide audience.
Our Role
We were appointed to provide Stage 3 – employer’s requirement documents for a new Costa Drive Thru as well as individual industrial units fitted out to CatA. We scoped out a comprehensive energy strategy with the use a low carbon technology to maximise energy performance improvement opportunities.
Our responsibilities comprised design of the domestic water, electrical, gas and IT services. Mechanical, electrical, public health services area designed to CatA fit-out including new energy-efficient external lighting for the drive thru lane and the car park area.
The Outcome
The design meets all requirements of the Local Authority planning requirements including energy enhancement and aspirations.
