Our Role
Our responsibilities comprised the strip-out of all existing services and the development of Stage 3 employer’s requirements for the Cat A fit-out.
We were appointed to design the complete refurbishment of the unit’s mechanical, electrical and public health services. The design incorporated energy-saving measures to help reduce future operating costs, including specialist LED lighting with motion-sensing controls throughout the warehouse and office areas, together with small power and IT services.
The Outcome
Client’s representative, we monitored the contractor’s works through delivery and witnessed and commissioned all systems on completion. The resulting refurbishment provides efficient, fit-for-purpose building services designed to support the unit’s future occupiers while controlling operational energy use.
