Last weekend, our team headed out to brave Storm Kathleen for a refreshing 10 mile hike across the Cotswolds!

At Brookbanks, we are powered by our people. Last weekend some of our amazing team headed out to complete a 10 mile hike across the Cotswolds. Despite the weather in the preceding days (thanks to Storm Kathleen), the team headed out through the mud and the wind and the sunshine came out for them in the end! The day included wonderful views and some relaxing stops around the beautiful Bourton-on-the-Water and Stow-on-the-Wold.

It was great to see the team spending time together in the great outdoors and we are already planning our next adventure!

For developers, it raises a critical question: if infrastructure isn’t being delivered, are these obligations still proportionate or commercially justified? This article explores why the issue persists and how reviewing triggers, outdated requirements and opportunities for modification or claw-back can turn S106 from a fixed liability into an actively managed commercial tool that protects viability and unlocks value.
