High Leigh Garden Village
High Leigh Garden Village is a 97-acre greenbelt site with capacity for 523 new homes, 1FE primary school, shops, hotel, commercial floor space and allotments.
Our Role
Our services for this project covered:
- Highway design of a new dumbbell roundabout
- Drainage & SuDS design, directing storm water discharge into strategic detention ponds, with controlled outfalls into a nearby watercourse
- Air quality assessment to ensure national and local policy compliance
- Service supplies management and sourcing new supplies
- Earthworks & levels work to create effective engineering designs
The Outcome
We secured technical approval for a new dumbbell roundabout to facilitate access, and prepared an infrastructure pack to permit early construction of strategic foul and surface water drainage connections. Additionally, we facilitated the discharge of the reserved matters conditions and management of new service supplies.
