We are delighted to announce that the Kingsdown development at Swindon secured a resolution to permit at planning committee last night.

The project will deliver:

1,152 new and affordable homes

Comprehensive local transports improvements

Including a £20m new highway link over the A419

Three form entry primary school for 630 pupils

Over 31ha of open space

Enhancements to nearby Stanton Park and Stratton Wood

A new neighbourhood centre

Working closely with the Local Authority and consultees, the application has gone through various iterations to ensure the proposals are well designed, providing a distinctive, attractive and accessible place.  All new homes at Kingsdown will be zero-carbon ready, powered by air source heat pumps, have solar panels and come with electric vehicle charging points.

For Brookbanks, the planning application was managed by our Paul Boileau on behalf of Persimmon Homes and Primegate Properties.

We’re looking forward to moving the project into delivery.
