In September, we’ve continued to share our thoughts and expertise on the key themes currently influencing the built environment. The Building Safety Levy: the cash-flow issue developers may not be expecting

On the 1st October 2026, the new Building Safety Levy will come into operation. It is clear that the industry so far has heavily focused on the rate of the levy and its possible impact and importance as part of development planning. However, for developers the timing of payments may be as important as the amount itself.
