Situated in a small Bedfordshire village, this 13th century church is Grade I listed and houses a number of Early English stone carvings that are of national historical significance.

Our Role

We were appointed to undertake designs for a revised low energy LED lighting scheme. The designs were based around re-using the existing MICC cabling and connections to provide not only a much more efficient lighting solution for the church, but also to introduce additional lighting to create a range of lighting effects to suit different types of church services and events. The project is currently part way through implementation, with fundraising taking place to complete the lighting solutions.

The Outcome

As part of the scheme, we developed a number of lighting design models of the existing building, with on-site demonstrations to the Parochial Church Council (PCC) with mock-ups to allow the revised scheme to be envisaged by the committee members.
