Handling the design, procurement and delivery of a new primary school.
We managed the planning, design, delivery and cost management of the Sherford Vale Primary School, which opened its doors to pupils in September 2018.
Brookbanks oversaw all stages of delivery, from initial design work through to the tender to select a build contractor, and on to build and fit out of the school.
- A strong working relationship was developed with the County Council’s Education Team and with the Westcountry Schools Trust, which helped significantly in the successful delivery of a safe and secure facility for local children to learn and thrive in.
- Work is now underway to add a second wing to the school, providing places for a further 210 pupils. Again, we are managing this process, from design to handover of the school to the Westcountry Schools Trust.
