Brookbanks welcome Reuby & Stagg to our team! An exciting move to deliver Structural Services for our clients...

In August 2023, Brookbanks completed the purchase of Reuby and Stagg, a prestigious Structural and Civil Engineering Consultancy! This is a huge milestone for Brookbanks, and an opportunity to enhance the holistic services and value we add for our clients and their projects. Reuby & Stagg founder, Malcolm Reuby, and lead directors Chris Vivian and Mike Dewson remain in their current roles with the business.

REUBY & STAGG (a Brookbanks company) has been delivering world class Structural and Civil Engineering solutions across the UK for over 40 years, pushing the boundaries to meet the project vision for their clients.

The business has a great reputation of leading the designs on a variety of prestigious buildings, including the Americas Cup Building together with high-rise residential, commercial, industrial and regeneration projects in central London and other major cities across the UK. Reuby & Stagg has a very similar approach to Brookbanks in that they drive value and push the boundaries on their clients’ projects. Their culture and approach to client service aligns extremely well with our own and was one of the key drivers in our attraction to them.

The team has established an industry wide reputation for providing lean and cost-effective structural engineering designs. We look forward to sharing this expertise with all our clients and enhancing the Brookbanks services and skills further.

In September 2023, Brookbanks headed down to our new office location in the South to meet the new team and share our vision going forward.

We can’t wait to watch our teams deliver great outcomes for all of our clients!

Brookbanks Podcast #19: Life Cycle & Upfront Costs

June 18, 2026

As the long-term sustainability and operational efficiency of developments come under greater scrutiny, the balance between initial capital outlay and long-term expenditure is playing an increasingly important role in successful project delivery. In our latest podcast, “Life Cycle & Upfront Costs,” Ben Wakeling is joined by Gerrad Mukuyu to explore how these two critical aspects of project budgeting interact in practice. The discussion focuses on why evaluating a project's financial footprint over its entire lifespan rather than just its construction phase can improve scheme viability, reduce risk, and ultimately create more sustainable, cost-effective assets.
