Senior Mechanical & Electrical Engineer

Daniel is a Senior Engineer within our Building Services, Engineering & Design specialist area, bringing more than five years of experience in electrical building services engineering across a broad range of sectors.

Having progressed from Graduate Engineer to Senior Engineer within a multidisciplinary engineering consultancy, Daniel has developed extensive experience delivering projects from feasibility and concept design through to technical design, construction support, commissioning and handover. His expertise spans low-voltage power distribution, lighting and controls, fire and life-safety systems, ICT and data infrastructure, security systems, electrical containment and utility coordination.

Daniel works closely with clients, consultants and project teams to develop coordinated electrical solutions that support successful project delivery while aligning with wider operational and design objectives.

Industrial & Logistics

Daniel has delivered electrical building services design for industrial, manufacturing and warehouse developments, supporting projects from concept through to delivery. His experience includes low-voltage power distribution, lighting, containment, life-safety systems and utility coordination, helping create efficient and resilient operational environments.

Residential Development

Daniel has worked on major residential and build-to-rent schemes, delivering coordinated electrical designs across power distribution, lighting, fire and life-safety systems, data infrastructure, security systems and associated site-wide services. His experience supports high-quality residential developments that meet both technical and user requirements.

Education

Working across university and education projects, Daniel has delivered electrical building services designs including lighting, power, controls, ICT infrastructure, fire alarm systems, security systems and containment. He understands the importance of creating flexible and reliable learning environments that support both students and staff.

Healthcare

Daniel has contributed to healthcare developments requiring technically robust and reliable electrical solutions. His experience includes lighting, small power, data systems, fire alarms, nurse call systems, life-safety infrastructure and renewable energy interfaces, supporting environments where operational performance is critical.

Daniel has experience working on listed building refurbishments, carefully integrating modern electrical services within historic environments. His collaborative approach helps balance conservation requirements with the performance expectations of contemporary building users.

Justice & Custodial

Within secure and operational custodial environments, Daniel has delivered and coordinated electrical building services solutions that support security, resilience and operational requirements. His experience includes working alongside multiple stakeholders to deliver projects within highly regulated settings.

Alongside his core sectors, Daniel has also worked across commercial offices, science and research facilities, secure government and defence environments, hotels and retail developments, providing him with a broad understanding of the technical requirements and operational considerations that shape different building types.

  • Currently working towards Incorporated Engineer (IEng) professional registration
