Lee Witts

Group Director for Highways, Environment and Transition

Experience:

Lee is the Group Director for Highways, Environment and Transition at Brookbanks, bringing an extensive track record of successful delivery of strategic land though both planning promotion and permission. Lee’s approach to technical-led planning is outcome-focused, meaning that even from the early stages of site promotion, the designs, strategies and innovations are ‘disposal-ready’. This approach retains the value of the land with the client.

Lee either leads or coordinates all projects through the sequence of land finding, planning promotion, planning application and site disposal.

Lee brings 25 years’ experience of working in private sector consultancies, undertaking sector-spanning work in both the UK and overseas. Previous career highlights include designing elements the Nottingham Express Transit system, external works for the Heathrow Airport expansion, resident site engineer for a £50M packaging plant extension and technical assessor for a $6M natural disaster compensation claim in Australia. At Brookbanks, Lee draws on previous experiences to successfully deliver many planning consents ensuring that the transportation, environment and infrastructure elements are market-leading, innovative and cost-effective.
